If you don’t feel like waiting for The Elder Scrolls VI, don’t worry, because today you can see what it can look like Skyrim powered by over 1,500 mods with Reshade RayTracing technology.
This huge amount of mods is concentrated in the project Elysium-remastered for the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, to which Reshade RayTracing has been added to finish visually perfecting the game. As you can see in the video, you don’t even feel like you’re watching Skyrim, but a whole different game .
Although no performance data is given, the game looks smooth, although of course at no point is a fight seen to see if this performance holds up or drops. Also keep in mind that it works on a AMD Ryzen 9 3900X of 12 cores with a GeForce RTX 3090 and 32 GB of RAM.
As you can see this mod pack, with ReShade RayTracing and another mod that expands the game’s story or quests, you can replay it from scratch as if it were a completely different game . The mod is available in a GitHub repository, remembering that one of the drawbacks is that it only works with the anniversary edition of Skyrim and not the game in its original edition.
