The Intel Arc A770 appears on Geekbench, for now it works like a GeForce RTX 3060

Intel’s high-end GPU, the Intel Arc A770graphics chip based Intel ACM-G10was seen by benchmarking software Geekbench with an Intel Core i5-9600K processor for routine testing, in which it resulted in a score in the OpenCL benchmark of 85,585 points.

Without context… Is it a lot or a little? well basically what an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile givesso yes, it’s not much, since its final performance should be at least comparable to that of a GeForce RTX 3070 desktop, which for now in the same benchmark offers 39.8% more performance.

Knowing that this graph probably won’t happen until the end of Juneit is obvious that there is still a lot of work to do, and more after seeing to an Intel Arc A350M doubling its performance by disabling a technology that supposedly allows it to improve its performance in games that use little CPU, so basically this benchmark confirms that this graphics card has 512 Execution Units at a frequency of 2400 MHzand that it will have 16 GB of GDDR6 memory.

From what we know based on leaks, the Intel Arc A770 offers a configuration of 4096 hearts with access to 32 ray tracing units (Hardware RayTracing) while the 16 GB of memory, which would reach a frequency of 17.5 Gbpswill be attached to a memory interface of 256 bitresulting in a GPU with a consumption of 175W. Added to this will also be support for rescaling technology Intel® XeSSwhere, like Nvidia DLSS, we have hardware-accelerated machine learning algorithms.
