amd secretly launched a new graphics card, the RadeonRX6700 (not XT), a graphic that was seen twice by the Sapphire assembler. Although the launch of this GPU is imminent, it was only today that a new model was leaked that will segment the lower midrange of GPUs.
This new GPU uses a graphics chip Navi 22 XLa scaled-down variant of the original Navi 22 XT chip, which includes 2308 stream processors (vs 2560 SP) next to 10 GB of GDDR6 memory @ 16 Gbps (vs. 12 GB), with access to a memory interface of 160 bit (against 192 bit). Specifically, the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 6700 achieves a base/turbo clock of 2330/2495MHz with a TDP around 200W and requiring an 8-pin PCIe connector for power.
As indicated, this GPU will arrive on June 9 in Europe at a price of around 569 €so it’s not that it’s a very smart option, and it’s that it’s the same price they’re hovering at right now the Radeon RX 6700 XT.
