PS1 and PSP Games Leaked on PlayStation Servers Ahead of Playstation Plus Launch

PlayStation is preparing its new subscription platform for games, the so-called PlayStation Plus, for its launch next June. However, although there are still a few months left, a series of “old school” games have already been found on the PlayStation Network servers.

A Reddit user named the_andshrew is the one who posted the information after finding the ID and images of five classic games, implying that Sony adds little by little a library of old games to your servers.

Worms Armageddon for PlayStation

The five games discovered are:

  • Mister Driller (PS1)
  • Tekken 2 (PS1)
  • Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)
  • Towards Armageddon (PS1)
  • World Worm Party (PS1)

Added to this are the discoveries of last week:

  • Siphon filter (PS1)
  • Siphon filter 2 (PS1)
  • Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror (PSP/PS2)
  • Siphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow (PSP/PS2)

If everything is going well for you and you want to treat yourself, you already have the PlayStation Plus Premium for €16.99/$17.99 per month or €/$119.99 per year, plus 340 additional games, many of them from PlayStation 3 via streaming. Also added are classic PlayStation 2, Playstation 1 and PSP games, plus streaming access to PlayStation 1/2/4 and PSP games (market dependent). Oh, you’ll also get access to demos of any game that exceeds a $34 price tag, we forgot about that.
