Rumors return to the technical specifications of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070. These adjustments slightly modify the number of CUDA cores and even the memory configurations, and warn that the simplest model which will arrive first, the GeForce RTX4070, it won’t be cheap.
It should be remembered that the high-end GPU would be the first to come out, waiting for it to hit the market between the months of september and october. The GeForce RTX 4080 would follow in october and novemberand the GeForce RTX 4070 would arrive between the months of November or December. Finally, we expect that GeForce RTX 4060 arrive in January.
New NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070 specs
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 would be slightly more powerful than expected, and that is that the rumored 16128 CUDA cores would eventually increase to 16348so we go from 126 to 128 streaming multiprocessors (YOU). The rest of the specifications show no change: 24 GB of memory GDDR6X @ 21 Gbps and a TDP of 450W. The graphics chip used, the AD102, is said to have a total of 144 SM, which would be the configuration to expect from a new TITAN series GPU or a future GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 would happen with 10240 CUDA cores (+18% vs. RTX 3080) with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory @ 18 Gbps with a TDP which could be around 420W. Finally, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 would happen with 7168 CUDA cores (+21% vs RTX 3070), but that would come with cuts, with 10 GB of memory GDDR6 instead of 12 GB, and with a memory interface of 160 bit instead of 192 bit. Your TDP would be 300W.
