PC with the design of an Xbox Series X

Gigabyte has announced the launch of a compact PC called Model Aorus Swhich has a design very similar to that of an Xbox Series X, with the big exception that it uses a combination of Intel + Nvidia hardware with a water cooling system.

With dimensions of 190 x 189 x 400 mm high (vs 15.1 x 15.1 x 30.1 for the Xbox), we come across a computer powered by a processor Intel Core i7-12700K12-core processor and 20 processing threads at a Base/Turbo frequency of 3.60/5.00 GHz (8x P-Core + 4x E-Core), accompanied by an Aorus Z690 motherboard in Mini-ITX format with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 8GB, 32GB of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM and 2TB capacity NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. All powered by a 750W 80 Plus Gold power supply.

Model Aorus S

The information of the Model Aorus S comes with a custom air cooling system with six bonded copper heat pipes to a generous radiator accompanied by a configuration of dual fan in Push&Pull configuration of 120 and 140 mm which draws in air from the bottom of the system and expels it from the top like the Microsoft console does. According to the company, this is more than enough despite the fact that this cooling system it is tied to both CPU and GPU.

Finally, we have access to WiFi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet portUSB-C 3.2 Gen2 @ 20Gbps ports, and as expected, they haven’t announced pricing.

The small but mighty gaming PC you’ve been dreaming of has arrived. The super efficient cooling system comes in a sleek and compact form. There will never be a compromise between space and performance again.

Proprietary hardware designed exclusively for the limited volume inside the Model S (14 liters) creates maximum cooling space and keeps the critical core at a stable level of high performance.

Model S’s 3-way air intakes and quiet dual-fan design create massive airflow of up to 84 CFM, keeping your system cool, quiet, and performing without compromise.
