gigabyte announced the launch of an intermediate tower for players, the Aorus C500 Glasswhich promises optimized airflow, and as the name suggests, additional glass, which comes in the form of tempered glass both side and frontalthough in the front part it is partial, since the lower part is finished in plastic, where there is enough space left for the air to enter, as in the upper and lower frames, the most interesting thing is that the part front opens easily having two hingeswhich facilitates the maintenance of fans with dust.
Inside, there is access for the installation of motherboards in the format up to E-ATXhigh-end air-cooled CPU coolers thanks to the 190mm space, high-end graphics cards up to 420mm in length, which can be installed both horizontally and vertically, and a power supply up to 220mm deep. If you’re still using conventional storage drives, there’s room for 2x 3.5″ + 2x 2.5″.
In terms of cooling, the Gigabyte Aorus C500 Glass comes with 3 x 120mm PWM and ARGB fans pre-installed on the front together to a 120mm rear. This leaves room for 3 additional 120mm fans on the top, or a 360mm radiator for a liquid one, as well as the possibility of installing another 420mm radiator in the front.
This U-Tower’s details are complemented by excellent cable management, with plenty of holes to hide all the cables from view and improve system airflow, the tempered glass panels are 4mm thick, on the top we have an I/O panel with access to one USB-C 3.1 Gen2 port + 2x USB 3.0, an ARGB illuminated Aorus logo is present on the front, and as always, its price has not been announced.
