Industry rumors indicate that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series they would have succumbed to a new delay which would imply a launch by the end of this year and even early 2023.
The reason is the same as before, and that is that there is a huge stock of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards that they cannot be released for many reasons, the main one being the extra costto which is added the uncertainty of a current market linked to inflationa dead mining marketthat users also prefer to wait launch of a new generation GPUs to spend their money, and those who don’t have that luck, in terms of savings, prefer to go at a second-hand market increasingly plagued by used GPUs at prices that drop week after week.
According to the latest rumors we had access to, the high-end GPU, the GeForce RTX 4090, would be the first to debut, is expected to hit the market between the months of September (which would have been postponed to October). The GeForce RTX 4080 would follow in october (postponed to November)and the GeForce RTX 4070 would arrive between the months of november (from December). Finally, we expect that GeForce RTX 4060 arrive in January.
Although rumors indicated a month latenow NVIDIA could have applied an extra month meaning that at best we see an RTX 4090 in November, or even a few forcing the entire GeForce RTX 40 line to really debut in 2023.
With delays or not, at least this year we’ll see next-gen graphics, and that would imply that all the attention would be on the AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series.
