Using Geekbench benchmarking software, it has been shown that NVIDIA GeForce MX570, dedicated graphics card intended for laptops only. This graphics card was officially announced in mid-December and little is known about it, to the point that this benchmark reveals part of its specifications, which were never revealed by Nvidia after its official presentation.
In this way, the benchmark indicates that the GPU has 16 compute units, which translates to 2048 CUDA cores listed at a maximum frequency of 1155MHz near 2 GB of GDDR6 memory. This translates to a performance in the OpenCL benchmark of 44638 dotsbeing right behind the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 Mobile (48617 points), what we know now makes sense, since both have the same number of cores, but in this case this model is able to reach a frequency of up to 1560MHz and offers 4 GB of GDDR6 memorywhich is the minimum you should expect from a modern GPU, despite the fact that this capability already causes performance hits in modern games.
In this way, Nvidia was able to penalize the GeForce MX570 so as not to cannibalize the sales of the RTX 2050, since the performance is very similar, but in addition to having only 2 GB of memory, the chip used in the RTX adds access to RayTracing and DLSS technology, which allows for visual and performance quality improvements despite similar performance.
