Intel has announced its new 2.5L Gaming Mini-PC, and it’s none other than the Intel® NUC 12 “Serpent Canyon”, which leaves behind the Intel Tiger Lake processor and GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, for processors Intel Alder Lake up to 14 cores with internal graphics, and those couldn’t be other than the Arc Intel.

In its most advanced configuration, one can choose a Intel Core i7-12700H 14 cores and 20 processing threads at 4.70 GHz (6x P-Core + 8x E-Core) with one graphics card Intel Arc A770Mbased on the ACM-G10 graphics chip with 32 Xe cores which results in 4096 hearts at a base frequency of 1650 GTH with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit memory interface and power consumption that will shift between the 120 and 150W. It is the company’s high-end laptop GPU and replaces the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 that was used on the Intel NUC 11.

The rest of the known specs of the Intel NUC 12 “Serpent Canyon” go through offering space to install up to 64GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200 MHz in SO-DIMM format, multiple M.2 ports to install several high-performance NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD units, on the front we have access to an SDXC card slot compatible with the UHS-II standard, access to several USB 3.2 ports, Thunderbolt 4, an Ethernet port @ 2.5 Gbps, and three Outputs video outputs in the form of 1x HDMI 2.1 and 2x DisplayPort 2.0.

The Serpent Canyon is Intel’s next-generation high-performance NUC, while retaining its miniature size and “little gun” nature, featuring a high-end discrete graphics card with 16GB of video memory and a Core 14 processor. GB of cores in a volume of only around 2.5 liters, balancing performance with size.
