biostar announced the launch of a fairly competitive Mini-ITX format motherboard, the Biostar B660T-SILVERwhich supports up to 64 GB of memory DDR4 @ +5000MHz with overclocking and offers one PCI-Express 5.0 x16 lane reinforced steel with one M.2 PCIe 4.0 port (covered by an aluminum heatsink) and 4x SATA III 6.0Gbps for system storage.
It’s all attached to one socket LGA1700 for using 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core processors (Alder Lake and Raptor Lake), which is powered by a VRM of 9 power stagesthus requiring a 24-pin ATX connector plus an 8-pin EPS for power.
The rest of the motherboard specs Biostar B660T-SILVER go through the mid-range chipset Intel B660access to a Realtek TRL8125B Ethernet port @ 2.5 Gbps4x USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, 2x USB 2.0, PS/2 combo connector for mouse and keyboard, two video outputs in the form of HDMI and DisplayPort, Realtek ALC1220 7.1 sound system and space to add a WiFi 6E + Bluetooth card, since at the rear we have some ports for WiFi antennas.
Finally, the motherboard features power supply protections, moisture-proof coating for the PCB, super-durable inductors and capacitors, UEFI BIOS, and there is no trace of RGB LED lighting. Unfortunately, the most interesting thing, the price, has not been revealed.
