After seeing the chassis First AP201 a few hours ago we now meet the ASUS TUF Gaming GT502which is a supercharged version that retains the cubic design but here we are facing a mid-tower ATX which widens to provide a dual chamber design. In this way, in one part of the chassis we can have the main hardware and in the other hide the storage units and yes, the wiring.
With dimensions of 285 x 450 x 446 mm and a weight of 12 kilograms, it is a frame made of steel, plastic and with double tempered glass window. Inside it can accommodate a base plate in the format ATXMicro-ATX or Mini-ITX with a total of 4 x 3.5″ / 2.5″ storage units with a mid-range air-cooled CPU cooler with a maximum height of up to 163mma graphics card up to 400mm in length, and a feed of up to 200mm Deep.
The ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 imposes for its design and its cooling
Designed for high-performance hardware, proper cooling is required, and that’s why this chassis boasts excellent cooling. An example of this is that we can install up to 2x/3x fans 140/120 mm at the top, 1 x 120mm in back, 3x 120mm basically, 3x 120mm to the side, and 2x/3x 140/120 mm on the right side of the chassis.
In other words, to admit up to 13 x 120mm fans or three 360mm + 1x 120mm radiators. From the factory you can choose a variant with 3 pre-installed fans at the top and 1x in back. To avoid dirt, we have dust filters top, bottom and right.
Possibility of vertical GPU and PLUS variant with RGB in mind
Finally, we have 90 mm of space to choose the wiring, the possibility of installing a vertical GPU occupying a maximum of 3 PCI slots (it has 8 + 3), and in the front we have space for the I/O panel which gives us access to 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port @ 10 Gbps, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 and microphone and headphone connectors. We also have the power and reset buttons and another button focused on adjusting the fan lights.
Additionally, we have a variant called ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 PLUSthat PLUS translates to include the 4 pre-installed fans (the normal variant does not include them), and adds a controller which supports up to 6 fans or ARGB LED strips for easy configuration from your motherboard software. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed any details regarding its availability or pricing.
The TUF Gaming GT502 gives you the options you’ve been looking for for your next high-performance PC. With its dual chamber design, it allows you to design an exceptional cooling system. Full-size tempered glass panels on the front and left side showcase your carefully selected components. And with hassle-free cable management options, a vertical mounting bracket for your graphics card, an included 6-port ARGB controller, and easy modding options, you can make the most of the view these windows have to offer.
