Xiaomi announced its new laptop, the Book Pro 16 OLED and the Book Pro 14 OLEDwhere the main difference between the two teams is in the use of a touch-sensitive OLED panel of 16 and 14 inches respectively.
Both panels reach a maximum brightness of 600nitsa contrast of 1,000,000:1, covers the DCI-P3 color space at 100%, while the 16″ model uses a resolution 4K@60Hz and the 14″ offers a resolution of 2.8K with increased refresh rate to 90Hz.
Both computers also share the use of an Alder Lake processor in the form of the Intel Core i5-1240P with 12 cores and 16 processing threads (4x P-Core + 8x E-Core), 16 GB RAM LPDDR5, integrated graphics Intel xed512 GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and option to choose a dedicated graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 alongside the Intel Core i7-1760P with the same core configuration but at a higher speed (the 14-inch can combine the i5 with a GeForce MX 550).
Both teams arrive with an aluminum and magnesium chassis of 14.9mm thick 70 Wh battery with a range of until 12 noon with a weight of 1.8 kg for the 16″; 1.5 kg for the 14″, fast charging technology of 100W via a USB-C connector and the pre-installed Windows 11 operating system.
