With the liquid H100i RGB ELITE, H115i RGB ELITE and H150i RGB ELITE, Corsair announced the launch of a new pair of high-performance fans, the Corsair AF120 ELITEwith dimensions of 120mm, as well as its 140mm variant, the Corsair AF140 ELITE.
Both available in black and white, the fan 120mm works between 400 and 1850RPM generate a current of air 10.9 to 59.1 CFM with a static pressure of 0.09 to 1.93 mmH2O and a sound of 31.5dBA. The 140mm model increases the output by spinning at 400 – 1600 rpm to generate a static pressure of up to 1.73 mmH2O with an airflow of 84.5CFM with a sound of 31dBA.
Now comes the same negative as liquids, prices, and that is that Each Corsair AF120 ELITE is priced at 23.90 euroswhile the Corsair AF140 ELITE does it for 25.90 euros. Luckily, it’s the same price for the black and white color variants, but those are sky-high prices if we’re just judging the specs on paper. Although they offer a Zero RPM design, obviously no one wants to have a fan off (and less pay that price), it will always be better to run at low speeds to bring improvement in temperatures without adding noise, than to do the opposite: leave to act to increase the temperature.
