Battlefield 2042 – Update 4.0 Adds VoiP to Parties and Squads, Plus a Ton of Changes

HE SAYS revealed the changes that will be applied in Battlefield 2042 tomorrow with the arrival of the update’Update 4.0‘. Among the news, finally there is a voice chat system (VoIP) when playing in a group or squadsthe recently added scoreboard will have its interface updated, now modifying weapons will have a more decisive impact depending on the parts you install, or even the experience of many daily actions, such as healing, repairing or giving ammo, has been increased, which basically quadruples it.

Battlefield 2042 - Update 4.0

#Update 4.0 will be available on April 19. This update brings VoIP functionality for groups and squads, a change to the end of round displaying the results table, as well as an overhaul of weapon attachments. It also includes many other changes and bug fixes listed below, such as:

  • Balance Specialist tweaks, such as Rao and Paik’s Trait Updates, and Sundance’s Specialty buffs, focusing on making her Armor Piercing Grenades more effective against nearby targets.
  • Vehicle balance changes, such as making the M5C Bolte’s passengers easier to target and a reduction in the power of its missile launcher.
  • Fixed an issue with being unable to ADS after exiting a vehicle or being unable to revive players who are near objects.
  • Improved XP chevrons and events to be easier to unlock in all modes.
