Using 3DMark benchmarking software, the performance of AMD Radeon RX 6950XTand it did not happen alone, since the performance of the Radeon RX 6750XT and Radeon RX 6650XTand except surprise, it seems that next week we will see the new fastest gaming graphics card on the market, at least according to the data provided by all the benchmarks that 3DMark integrates.
These cards have been tested with a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D next to a RAM memory DDR4@3600MHz and graphics drivers not yet officially released that support these new GPUs. All of this was handled by the Windows 10 operating system.
As you can see, at 2K/1440p resolution, AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT is 6.5% faster than Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Tiwhile the Radeon RX 6750 XT manages to outperform the GeForce RTX 3070 by placing itself between it and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, and finally the Radeon RX 6650 XT It practically matches the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
|Model||Radeon RX 6950 XT||Radeon RX6750XT||Radeon RX 6650 XT|
|spy of time||22209||13999||10262|
|extreme spy time||10743||6461||4634|
|Extreme Fire Strike||30380||18561||13559|
|Ultra Fire Strike||15159||9146||6735|
It should be remembered that, like the rest of the models, the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT reuses the same chip as the Radeon RX 6900 XT, except that it reaches a Base/Turbo frequency of 2100/2310MHz (for the reference model) which implies an improvement of +85/+60 MHz, while the 16 GB of GDDR6 memory increases from operating from 16 at 18 Gbit/s to increase your effective bandwidth up to 576 GB/s (compared to 512 GB/s). If we put the Infinity Cache in the equation, we are talking about a bandwidth of up to 1728.2 GB/s (against 1664 GB/s).
All of this involves the consumption of 335W of power35 W more than the predecessor, while custom models will approach 350W with frequencies close to 2600 MHz.
The AMD Radeon RX 6750XT sees its consumption increased by 20W, so we are talking about 250W for the same reason: to offer the same graphics chip but at a Base/Turbo frequency of 2495/2600MHz (+71/+19 MHz) with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory @ 18 Gbps (+2Gbps).
Finally, the AMD Radeon RX 6650XT goes from 160 to 180W consumption by seeing the silicon increase its Base/Turbo frequencies to 2410/2635MHz with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory @ 17.5 Gbps (against 16 Gbps). All of these GPUs will officially launch on May 10, when their reviews will also be posted.
