amd made a brief announcement confirming that its new generation of processors AMD Ryzen 7000 will be officially announced on August 29 during a live event broadcast on YouTube. Officially, the company didn’t offer any further details, only hinting at the use of AMD architecture. Zen 4 for the new platform AM5as well as the premiere of new technologies such as the PCI-Express 5.0 interface or DDR5 RAM.
If the schedule doesn’t fail, that means staying up all night, since that would be 7 p.m. ET, which translates at 1am in Spain (midnight in the Canary Islands).
This date agrees with the information disclosedso the launch of the CPUs would take place on September 27.
Today, AMD announced “together we advance_PCs”, a live premiere to unveil the next generation of AMD PC products. Dr. Lisa Su, President and CEO, CTO and EVP Mark Papermaster, and other AMD executives will present details on the latest “Zen 4” architecture that powers the upcoming AMD Ryzen processors and new platform AM5 built around the latest technologies including DDR5 and PCIe5, all designed to power a new era of high performance desktop computing.
The event will premiere at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, August 29 on AMD’s YouTube channel. A replay will be available a few hours after the event ends at AMD.com/Ryzen.
